"You know Gitty??" —JLo

Jeff “Gitty” Gitelman has built a career where his name may not always be on the marquee, but his musical fingerprints are everywhere. A producer, songwriter, guitarist and multi-instrumentalist, Gitty has become a go-to collaborator for artists looking for records that feel polished without losing their humanity. His work moves easily between R&B, pop, soul, hip-hop and roots music, with musicianship always at the center. Rather than imposing a signature sound on every artist, Gitty seems to understand what each song needs and, more importantly, what it doesn’t. This approach has put him in the studio with H.E.R., Victoria Monét, The Weeknd, Anderson .Paak, Mac Miller, J. Cole, Alicia Keys, GIVEON, Teddy Swims, Muni Long and many more.

Most recently, Jeff Gitty has been behind an especially wide-ranging collection of records that shows just how versatile his production can be. His recent work includes Shania Twain’s “I’d Be Loving Me,” Tori Kelly’s “Hurts So Good,” Teddy Swims’ “You Got Another Thing Coming,” Elmiene’s “Reclusive,” The War and Treaty’s “You Can’t Hurt Me Anymore,” Victoria Monét’s “Let Me,” Latto’s “Mama” featuring Jelly Roll, Jessie Reyez’s “DUSTY” featuring Ty Dolla $ign, and GIVĒON’s “Jezebel.” On paper, that’s an unlikely group of artists—and that’s exactly what makes the body of work so interesting. From country and roots to contemporary R&B, pop and hip-hop, Gitty adapts to the artist rather than asking the artist to adapt to him. Across these recordings, Gitty pays close attention to vocal performance, musicianship and emotional detail, allowing each artist to remain unmistakably themselves while giving the songs the production they need to land.

A six-time GRAMMY®-nominated producer, songwriter and musician, Jeff “Gitty” Gitelman has earned recognition across categories including Album of the Year, Record of the Year and Best R&B Song. His credits span generations and genres, including collaborations with Jennifer Lopez, Hozier, Lauryn Hill and Jessie Murph. Beyond his own studio work, Gitty is investing in what comes next through 3H, the production company and label he co-founded with GRAMMY® Songwriter of the Year Theron Thomas, where the pair are developing and mentoring emerging artists including Tig3R Lewis and Sekou. Whether he’s helping shape a global hit or building something more intimate around a singular voice, Gitty has become the kind of producer artists trust to serve the song first—and his latest run of records makes a compelling case for why.
