MEET SUPERPOSITION
Superposition is a musical antidote to a world of digital overwhelm.
Created by Justin Boreta (The Glitch Mob) and Matthew Davis (LA Philharmonic, [namethemachine]), this GRAMMY-nominated project emerged from a shared love of deep-listening music.
Their debut release, "A00 // No Mind," was critically acclaimed for its adept highlight of this emerging genre. Their second full-length album, "Form//Less," released in 2020, garnered a Grammy nomination for Best New Age Album. Since then, the duo has collaborated with several notable figures such as Tycho, Laraaji & Carlos Nino, Alan Watts, Ram Dass, East Forest, Niia, Eckhart Tolle, and others.
In a bid to amplify their innovative sonic creations, Justin and Matt launched a label collective, Formless, in partnership with ATC Management. This collective aims to serve as a sanctuary for artists who aspire to explore this limitless musical landscape.
In 2022, they released "Innerspace Music," a compilation of guided musical meditations. This includes contributions from Superposition, Tycho, Paul Corley of Sigur Rós, Jeremiah Fraites of The Lumineers, Ram Dass, Alan Watts, Mooji, and a myriad of others.
Superposition's unique influence on the music scene hasn't been overlooked. In 2021, Billboard recognized them among a handful of artists spearheading the new psychedelic renaissance in music, further cementing their role as industry trailblazers.
